Investigations into the murder of Edmond Sula on July 12 in Bërxulë, Tirana, have focused on conflicts he may have had recently.

After narrowing down the circle of suspects, the Tirana Court has ordered searches in several apartments.

Sources have announced that despite verifications, no results have been produced that would serve to shed light on the serious incident where the 50-year-old was shot with a sniper as soon as he entered the yard of his house.

However, the police have announced that during house searches they detained a 43-year-old man because a pistol was found in his home that he was carrying without a permit, but the police add that there is no evidence to implicate him in the July 12 incident.

Regarding the murder investigation, sources from the investigation group indicate that the police suspect that more than one person may have participated in organizing the murder of 50-year-old Sula.

The perpetrator, after shooting at a distance of about 50 meters, fled on foot, losing his tracks in the nearby forest.

This raised suspicions that he had information about security cameras in the area and in the victim's apartment, and therefore avoided them.
