A 36-year-old man from Kosovo has been arrested for kidnapping and sexual assault in Padua .

He had been out of prison less than 24 hours when he kidnapped a 37-year-old Albanian woman, holding her down and raping her for hours.

The horror was told by the woman herself, who after two days was able to escape from the uninhabited apartment where she had been locked up.

According to reports, the 37-year-old woman was contacted by phone by the unknown person, who, under the pretext of having to tell her very important news and implying that her 18-year-old son was in danger, made her go out into the street.

At that moment, he threatened her with a gun and forced her to follow him to the first apartment, where she was kidnapped for hours and then transferred to a second house.

The woman was forced to have repeated sexual intercourse for hours, always at gunpoint, and only when she received a call from her son on her cell phone, revealing that she was not in danger, did she manage to free herself from the rapist and escape into the street, calling the police.

The 36-year-old was arrested after two days of intensive searches in Padua. He was residing illegally in Italy and has numerous criminal records.
