The "Bulgarian train" in Peqin? The CEC overthrows the Democratic

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has officially responded to the Democratic Party – Alliance for Magnificent Albania, rejecting the claim about the phenomenon of the "Bulgarian train" in Peqin.

In the response addressed to the legal representative of DP-ASHM, Franc Nuri, the State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, informs that: "During the process of taking over the material base sent by CEAZ no. 45, Peqin, no case has been identified where unused ballots have been administered outside the boxes of election materials of this CEAZ."

This response comes after a request filed on May 22, 2025 by PD-ASHM, which had requested information regarding the expertise on election materials seized in Peqin, Elbasan District.
