As a result of the checks carried out in various subjects, in the district of Korçë, in order to verify the implementation of the law and the standards of trading of consumer products, the specialists of the Section for Economic-Financial Crime of DVP Korçë, in cooperation with the Task Force and The Directorate of Investigation of AKU Tirana organized and finalized the coded operation "Market", as a result of which ES citizen, 50 years old, living in Korçë, was arrested in the act.

During the control exercised in the market owned by this citizen, in neighborhood no. 5, a significant amount of industrial and food goods and products were found, some of which had expired and had visible tampering with the stamps of these dates, suspected smuggled alcoholic and energy drinks and pyrotechnics (fireworks ) that were traded without a special license.

These goods and products were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
