Tragedy in Tirana/ Family members saw everything, as the drugged Audi driver

Marjana Sahitaj had only been married for a few days and was only a few days away from her dream of running away with her husband to Great Britain, but a drugged-up driver drove into her backyard at extremely high speed, crushing her for death.

The whole event happened in fractions of seconds, leaving no chance for the 25-year-old to avoid it. The 40-year-old driver Sajmir Thaçi lost control of the "Audi" type vehicle, collided with the door of the apartment and after entering the yard hit the young woman.

Although the family members took her urgently and sent her to the hospital, she could not survive due to the serious injuries she had suffered.

40-year-old Sajmir Thaçi turned out to be drugged while driving the car with which he took the young woman's life. The father of the deceased says that he saw the incident and that he found his daughter under the gate. Together with his sons, he sent him to the hospital, but they could not keep him alive.
