Italian Carabinieri officers in Cesenatico (Forli) arrested a 19-year-old Albanian accused of drug trafficking.
The young man was seen handing over a small bag containing approximately 1.20 grams of cocaine to a buyer.
After arresting the two suspects, the carabinieri searched the 19-year-old, finding seven bags of cocaine weighing approximately five grams and 385 euros in cash in his jacket pocket.
Furthermore, inside a flower garden (where the 19-year-old Albanian had been seen shortly before removing a package), another 56 doses of cocaine weighing approximately 42 grams were discovered, contained in four metallic chewing gum packs.
The subsequent search expanded to his home and found two more doses of cocaine and one dose of marijuana, approximately 1,500 euros in cash, as well as two precision scales and materials used to package and conceal the doses.
The judge of the court of Forlì confirmed the arrest of the young man, ordering him to remain in the province of Forlì-Cesena until the next hearing scheduled for the end of May.
