Diego Haxhiraj alias Teki Hanaj, accused of the attempted murder of two police officers two years ago in Vlora, was extradited this Thursday from Belgium to our country.

The State Police says that the "Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlorë, in 2022, has set the security measure of "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Murder in other qualifying circumstances", pending trial, committed in cooperation, and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

On the evening of 02.09.2022, in the city of Vlora, it is suspected that Diego Haxhiraj alias Teki Hanaj, in collaboration with another citizen, fired a firearm at two police officers. The perpetrators left the scene in a vehicle, which was found and seized by the police.
