Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the shooting attack that occurred at a hotel in Washington, during a dinner with journalists, where President Donald Trump was also present.

Through a post on the social network 'X', Rama wrote that such an attack strikes freedom and the democratic way of life.

The Prime Minister further wrote that he was relieved that the US President and everyone present at the dinner with journalists were safe and well.

"It is disturbing to hear of the violent attack by a gunman at a hotel in Washington, DC, during a presidential event with journalists. An attack like this strikes at freedom and our democratic way of life everywhere. I strongly condemn it. I am relieved that POTUS and all those present are safe and sound," Rama wrote on the social network 'X'.
