Prime Minister Edi Rama has arrived at the Government Villa, where at 6:00 PM he will hold a meeting with the political leaders of the Socialist Party and ministers.

The meeting was scheduled to take place at the Socialist Party headquarters, but has been moved to the Government Villa. The change of location comes after protesters had called for a gathering near the SP headquarters.

Meanwhile, from the American Embassy area to the Government Villa, the road is filled with police forces. A security perimeter has also been set up at the entrance to the villa, where unauthorized persons are not allowed to pass.


The meeting follows the two-day meetings of the Socialists in Pogradec and yesterday's government meeting.

During the meeting, Rama is expected to give political leaders instructions on the work they should begin in their electoral zones, as part of preparations for the 2027 local elections.

Political leaders are expected to hold meetings with SP structures to present the majority's strategic documents, "Besa" and "Pranina Besnike".

The "Pasqyrë Albania" platform was also presented in Pogradec, which aims to collect and follow up on citizens' complaints. According to the project, problems should receive a response within two weeks, while citizens will be able to follow in real time which institution their request is in.
