Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that the goal of this government is to offer young people the opportunity to study and delve into scientific research in our country.

Present at the International Nanotechnology Congress, Rama emphasized that the vision is clear; partnerships with European universities will also be sought.

“ When Nano-Alb was founded, 5 years ago, it was a signal of a renewed Academy of Sciences and not of remaining in the past. There is no doubt that nano-technology is a champion. A number of Albanian universities are designing a system for nano-science. Our vision is for every young Albanian to study at home. We will seek partnerships with European universities.

It is work that has begun and we are seeing the first steps and the first results. This investment in education is about creating a space for people to think innovatively. This generation will drive the Albanian economy and industry forward. I want to tell you that Albania is committed to turning every euro into tangible progress.

There is no doubt that as some outsiders see it, this is a friendly country. A place where the word welcome is in perfect harmony with what you can expect. I look forward to working closely with the Academy of Sciences and its dictator, to do better things in its progress. ”, he said.

Rama stated that Albania dares and leads, while emphasizing that the Sun is not a toy, but that the future of Albania is being projected with it.

" Albania is a nation that dares to lead, not follow, at the forefront of science and technology in this region. Let me say that by creating a Minister of AI, the first female minister in the world, Albania is not simply embracing the future, but is trying to do its part to design it."

The sun is not a toy, through it we have transformed what was once a domain into a transparent algorithm to transform the power of the state into that of the servant.

We are convinced that sooner rather than later we will be able to offer an extraordinary instrument to make tenders public and transparent, with integrity like never before. Albania is a country that dares and empowering AI is a fundamental pillar of governance, it is our priority and our vision for Albania 2030 is clear and rooted in integrity, innovation and scientific leadership.

"This event illustrates more than words. We will channel more resources, reforms to help build a nanotechnology ecosystem that is anchored in Tirana but has expanded beyond, " Rama said.
