The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, announced through a post on social networks that 22 winning municipalities have been announced for the Social Housing Investment Project. According to him, there is a funding value of 490 million ALL from the state budget.

These projects will address the needs for improving housing conditions for 847 needy families throughout the country.

But which are the families benefiting from this project?

The families that benefit are 11% families with economic assistance, 21.6% educated but without support, 13.2% persons with disabilities, 2.5% families with one parent, 2% families with female heads of the family, 3.2% returned immigrants, 2% victims. of trafficking, 34.5% other categories according to law no. 22/2018 "On social housing".

While the distribution of funds will be done according to the plan, 57 million lek are for the adaptation of the facility and the return to social housing for housing 35 families in difficult economic conditions, in the Municipality of Mat. Furthermore, 335 million ALL for the "Improvement of housing conditions" program for 547 families in 19 municipalities. Also, 98 million ALL for the improvement of infrastructure in informal areas for 265 families, belonging to social housing categories.
