At 12:30, another hearing is expected to be held at the Special Court for Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, who has been held under arrest since February as a suspect on several charges.

Veliaj is not expected to be in the hearing himself after he signed a statement that he will be represented by his lawyer Ermir Beta.

In this session, which will be presided over by Judge Erjon Bani, SPAK is expected to present 2-month information on the progress of the investigations, while the defense may request a replacement of the security measure.

A few days ago, the Appeals Court of Kosovo rejected Veliaj's release from prison on bail.
