SPAK takes as defendant the commissioner of KPC, Etleda Çiftja

The Special Prosecution has arrested the commissioner of the Independent Qualification Commission, Etleda Çiftja. The commissioner is accused by SPAK for false declaration and falsification of documents in the form of use.

The couple is the third vetting officer to be taken as a defendant after Luan Daci, from the Special Appellate Panel (KPA) and Artan Hajdari, also from the KPA.

Recall that on December 1, 2020, former judge Luan Daci was sentenced to 6 months in prison, a decision which was converted into 1 year of probation. He was charged with forgery of documents after hiding his dismissal from the High Council of Justice in 1997 for lawlessness and incompetence.
