The SPAK Special Prosecutor's Office has made the balance of work for the month of July. During this month, 13 criminal reports were submitted, of which 2 reports were decided not to start investigations.

15 criminal proceedings were registered, of which, 4 proceedings for criminal offenses related to organized crime and 11 proceedings for criminal offenses related to corruption.

3 criminal proceedings with three defendants have been sent for trial, of which, one proceeding with one defendant for criminal offenses related to organized crime and 2 proceedings with 2 defendants for criminal offenses related to corruption.

Based on the requests presented by the Special Prosecutor's Office, 21 personal security measures against the persons under investigation were approved by the Special Court. Based on the requests submitted by the Special Prosecutor's Office, the Special Court has approved property insurance measures for 4 real estates with a total area of ​​66,811 m².

After the final requests of the special prosecutors, the Special Court issued 5 basic decisions, declaring 43 defendants guilty. Based on Law No. 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On preventing and combating organized crime, trafficking, corruption and other crimes through preventive measures against wealth", (amended), 24 assets were seized by court decision, as follows:

– 7 commercial entities.

– 4 movable assets of the vehicle type.

– 13 real estates, of which, 10 plots of land with a total area of ​​24,233 m² and 3 buildings.

62 responses were returned to letters received from various institutions regarding the status of Albanian citizens and public officials in relation to the criminal proceedings against them.

5 final criminal decisions have been executed and 25 execution orders have been issued for persons convicted by the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, Tirana.

Execution orders were issued for the confiscation of 51 movable assets, as follows:

– 3 vehicles.

– 48 mobile devices of different brands.

Execution orders were issued for the confiscation of 75 immovable properties, as follows:

– 73 plots of land with a total area of ​​305 175 m².

– 2 objects.

20 decisions were approved by the special prosecutors for approving meetings of detainees with their family members and 5 decisions for allowing telephone conversations.

A writ of execution received from foreign judicial authorities has been executed and a writ of execution has been sent to foreign authorities.

A request for criminal prosecution in the Republic of Albania has been executed.

2 coordination meetings were held, parties to the agreements within the framework of joint investigation teams with foreign authorities. Documentation has been sent to the Ministry of Justice for the purpose of extraditing an Albanian citizen from abroad to the Republic of Albania.

An agreement was signed to establish a Joint Investigation Team with foreign authorities. An international wanted announcement has been made for an Albanian citizen. 22 requests for information have been fully answered.
