SPAK issues an arrest warrant for Vangjush Dako and 10 former officials of the

The Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) has issued several arrest warrants for 10 former officials of the Municipality of Durrës. Sources indicate that the arrest warrants were issued in connection with a corruption case and the former officials are accused of abuse of office.

It is known that the measure of arrest in absentia has also been issued for the former head of the Municipality of Durrës Vangjush Dako. Sources indicate that SPAK has assigned 7 "prison arrest" measures and 3 "house arrest" measures.

It is not yet known about the names of the former officials for whom the arrest warrant was issued, nor details about the case for which they are accused. In the following hours SPAK is expected to issue an official statement.
