Erion Braçe's offer to run for Mayor of Tirana has sparked numerous reactions and discussions in public opinion and within the ranks of the Socialist Party.

Braçe said on his Facebook page that he is serious about running and that he will see this goal through to the end, seeking the support of the Socialists and the citizens of Tirana.

In his statements, Braçe emphasizes that running is not a personal ambition, but an opportunity to develop Tirana in a new and more inclusive dimension.

He thanked citizens for their support and that he is not making fun of this initiative, underlining that he will continue his political journey until the end.

Earlier, during a meeting of the Socialist Party Assembly in Unit 5 in Tirana, Braçe had declared that he would seek the support of socialists throughout the capital and, if he were not the official SP candidate, he would also run as an independent candidate for mayor.

 This statement has caused surprise and debate within socialist structures, as Ogerta Manastirliu is in the race as one of the candidates chosen by the leader of the Socialist Party, Edi Rama.

The Vox News survey aims to measure the public's perception of this candidacy, asking citizens how they see this political movement and whether it constitutes a real alternative for the leadership of the Municipality of Tirana in the future.
