Fire situation/Protection: 4 fires continue to be active, here are the problematic areas

The Ministry of Defense informs that during the last 24 hours, 25 fires have been reported, of which 4 remain active and 1 is under monitoring.

350 operational forces and 26 firefighting vehicles were engaged in the extinguishing operations, while the Armed Forces supported with 140 personnel, 3 helicopters and 2 Air Tractor aircraft.

The main active foci are in Dajt and Priska, Tirana, Lufaj, Mirditë and Tërbun, Puka.

In Dajt, the operation continues with 50 Armed Forces personnel, 15 firefighters and 5 AZM forces, without risk to residential areas.

In Tërbun, the extensive engagement of local structures, volunteers, and the Armed Forces continues, with the support of 2 helicopters, and here too there is no danger to homes.

The situation also appears to be improving in some of the outbreaks of recent days: Gurë-Lura, Bruçi in Mat, Tharri in Mirditë and the fire in Selenica have been completely extinguished, while in Qafë Helmes, monitoring and operations with local forces continue.

Civil Protection structures continue their work and monitoring on the ground, with a focus on the complete isolation of active outbreaks and the protection of residential areas.
