Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the government is planning to introduce online tickets for public transport in the country.

" Now, very soon, we will finally enter another phase with public transport, urban and interurban, where there will be no more paper tickets, and everything will be done online. As every citizen of many countries around us has been doing for years now ", said Rama in a meeting with the leaders of commercial banks in Albania.

The Prime Minister asked the banks to reduce the fees for banking services, mainly online. " Now, how can a commission as low as half of the ticket values ​​be paid for these tickets, with low values. This means, not service facilitation, but price increase ", said Rama.
