Hearing against Mediu postponed due to lack of lawyers

The hearing in the case of former Defense Minister Fatmir Mediu has been postponed due to the absence of two lawyers, Ardian Visha and Henrik Ligori.

The court fined both of them 5,000 new lekë, because Medi's legal defense requested military experts at this Wednesday's hearing.

One of the experts, Fatmir Bozdo, aged 72 with health problems, appeared today and told the court that he cannot appear again due to his health condition.

The latter stated for the black platoons that the expert report made after the explosion in Gërdec stands.

The next hearing was scheduled for December 18 at 9:00 a.m. The media outlet has been charged with "abuse of office" committed in collaboration.
