A solidarity movement of Albanian citizens has responded to the head of government's mockery.

Following the incident that occurred the day before near the Parliament during the protest and Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements about File Bulku and her son with autism spectrum disorder, Endi, a wave of solidarity in support of the family has increased.

A campaign on the GoFundMe platform has managed to raise over $150,000 so far.

File Bulku explained that on the day of the incident, he was not part of the protest, but was returning after sending his son to therapy.

According to her, due to blocked roads, she found herself near the protest area and was hit by pepper spray used by the police.

She has denied Prime Minister Edi Rama's claims that she was used as a "shield" during the protest, calling on the head of government to publicly confront her.

On the other hand, Rama described the solidarity of the protesters as "hypocritical", accusing them of having taken him to Parliament "to abuse that mother, along with the child", a comparison that he linked to practices used, according to him, by terrorist organizations.

Meanwhile, the non-profit organization "Brandon Forever 22 Legacy" has launched a humanitarian campaign to help File Bulku and her son.

According to organizers, the family lives in difficult conditions and their apartment is in urgent need of reconstruction. The campaign initially aimed to raise $85,000 to rehabilitate the apartment and cover Endi's treatment and care, but contributions have exceeded the target, reaching about $150,000 so far.

The organizers have called on citizens to continue contributing according to their ability, emphasizing that the funds will be used to improve the family's living conditions and to guarantee the necessary support for the boy with autism spectrum disorders.
