The protest of citizens and activists in Tirana marked its 55th day this Friday, while today's rally coincides with the morning meeting of Prime Minister Edi Rama with the parliamentary group and the government, where the "Besa" document was presented.
During his speech at the meeting, Rama said that he had listened to the protesters, stating that through this protest he had learned some realities, while also criticizing the public administration.
The protesters initially gathered at "Skënderbej" Square, and then headed to the boulevard, stopping in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, where they continued to call for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"Rama, resign", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Edi Rama, you traitor, resign as soon as possible", "Albania of Albanians, not of traitors", "New Albania", "Sold out opposition", were some of the protesters' calls.
The rally has been going on for 55 consecutive days, while the participants say they will continue the protest until their demands are met, including the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
