The explosion that happened yesterday evening, 100 meters from the Sea Port, is suspected to have been caused by explosives. Today, divers have found in the depth of the sea near the place of the event metal pieces that are suspected to belong to the vessel in which the victim is suspected to be, however, it has not been possible to specify what vessel it is.

Doubts related to the fact that the victim was in a very small craft and probably a floating craft near the Sea Port and that the explosion occurred on the surface of the water, but also its force, have made experts suspect that there really was an explosive explosion. It is not known what the target was, but the event happened exactly at 10:00 p.m. when all the attention was on the match between Albania and Spain.

Sources for "Balkanweb" inform that the victim was seen by two foreigners who were sailing in a small dinghy towards their yacht anchored in the yard. They asked him if he had a problem with something, but he answered "No". Only a few seconds later, the explosion was heard, which was accompanied by fire and smoke but also with noise, which shook the whole city.

Although the victim has not yet been identified, reliable sources indicate that he is an Albanian citizen and not a foreigner, as was initially suspected.
