An explosion was heard shortly before midnight on Sadik Petrela Street in Tirana. The incident was recorded on the 9th floor of a building. It was citizens who notified the police about this incident.

When the police arrived, they forced open the door because no one was in the apartment. There, they found damage to the balcony glass and the balcony window, which is suspected to have been caused by an explosive device.

A woman lived in the apartment, but fortunately was not where the explosives went off. Police say they are continuing to investigate the incident.
