Slovenian driver hits and kills pedestrian in Shkodra

An accident resulting in the death of a 68-year-old woman was recorded this afternoon on the "Shkodër-Hani i Hotit" road axis.

It was a Slovenian driver who hit the pedestrian, causing her to die from her injuries.

The Slovenian citizen was escorted to the police station for further action.

"Around 17:05, on the road "Shkodër - Hani i Hotit", the vehicle driven by Slovenian citizen KJ, hit the pedestrian, citizen PL, 68 years old. As a result of the accident, citizen PL lost her life. The driver of the vehicle, citizen KJ, was taken to the police station for further action. The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced.
