The British Embassy reacts to the election of the new head of SPAK. KLP members will vote tomorrow for the head of the Special Prosecution Office, who will have a 3-year mandate.

The mandate of the current leader, Altin Dumani, ends this month.

Reaction
The election of the Head of SPAK is an important step in Albania's progress in strengthening the rule of law and the fight against corruption. It is important that the High Prosecutorial Council conducts this process in a free, fair and transparent manner.
