Erges Shegani is the person arrested for burning a vehicle on "Memo Meto" street.

The car is owned by citizen  Julian Çakiri.

Shegani claimed that he set the car on fire in vain, while the police suspect that he was paid by another person with whom the owner of the vehicle, Julian Çakiri, had previous conflicts, suspected to be over ownership issues.

Police announcement:

Immediately after the announcement that at around 03:30, on 09.12.2025, on “ Memo Meto ” street, an “Audi” vehicle owned by citizen JC, 44 years old, had been burned, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 organized the work to identify and bring to criminal responsibility the perpetrator(s) of the case, as well as to clarify the circumstances.

As a result of rapid investigative and operational actions, carried out within the framework of Operation "Price", within a few hours, the suspected perpetrator of the case, citizen E. Sh., 39 years old, resident of Tirana, was identified and arrested, who is suspected of having committed this crime for weak motives.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
