The moment of Islam Sefa's arrest

Islam Sefa , who has been sentenced to prison, was arrested in July 2024 in a bar near SPAK for drug trafficking.

He was waiting for a lawyer when BKH agents intervened to handcuff him at the bar about 100 meters from the Special Prosecution Office building. 

SPAK accuses him of being the leader and financier of a drug trafficking group in Germany worth 3.3 million euros. The prosecution identified 12 members of the group, 8 Albanians and 4 Germans.

According to SPAK, the group led by Sefa, during the years 2020-2021, had trafficked significant amounts of marijuana-type narcotics to Germany in several episodes.

The quantity of narcotics was mainly supplied from Albania and Spain, which, after entering German territory, was trafficked in the Wolfsburg, Magdeburg regions, as well as in other countries of the European Union.

Islam Sefa is the brother of Bujar Sefa, who on July 1, 2024 was found guilty and sentenced to 10 years in prison for cultivating narcotics as part of a structured criminal group.

According to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, he was one of the leaders of two criminal groups that cultivated plots of narcotic plants in several areas of the Krujë Municipality, specifically the Cudhi Administrative Unit, the villages of Noj, Shkretë, Rranxë, Bruz Mal, Bruz-Zall, these areas bordering each other.

We recall that SPAK has arrested several dangerous individuals in Fushë-Krujë , accused of drug trafficking since 2020 and a structured criminal group.

A total of 14 security measures were issued, 10 of which were executed.

Three of them are currently in prison, and the arrest warrant has been issued to them in their cells. The other four remain at large./ VoxNews
