Rexhep Rraja , the son of a former SP MP, who has a criminal record, is among those arrested as part of a structured criminal group.

The "Rraja" criminal group was reportedly involved in drug trafficking, and was based in Nikël.

The other arrested are: Marvin Bushati, Agim Nina alias Lorenc Selmani, Sokol Qaja, Gazmir Rraja and Perparim Rraja .

The arrest measures were issued by prosecutor Adnan Xholi , following the breakdown of communications on " Sky Ecc ".

VoxNews  has learned that 3 of the people have been issued security measures in prison after being arrested. 

Rexhep Rraja's criminal past:

Rexhep Rraja is the young man who was filmed hitting his two cousins, Bilbil and Jashar Maja, with a baseball bat.

The barbaric rape of two cousins, an event that occurred in 2023, also involved members of the Rraja tribe, such as the two brothers of the socialist MP, Xhelal and Flamur Rraja, where the latter pointed a gun at one of the victims who was unconscious on the floor of the bar where the serious incident occurred.

However, the names of Rexhep Rraja and his uncle, Xhelal, have also been implicated in another violent event.

The young man was accused of assaulting his then-girlfriend, Xhisiela Malokut, and the case was made public by officer Emiljano Nuhu, who witnessed the incident and filed charges against the police for negligence.

But when the incident became public, Emiljano Nuho claimed that Xhelal Rraja had threatened him with a gun to close the file.

In the investigation of this case, the Prosecution also received the forensic doctor's report, which showed that Xhisiela Maloku had injuries to her body.

The latter then withdrew the complaints, emphasizing that she had done everything out of jealousy towards her former partner.

Rexhep Rraja was arrested on September 30, 2018, only to be released three months later after gaining parole.
