
Footage emerges from the police operation, in collaboration with SPAK, where members of the Rraja group were arrested.
As part of the "Return" operation, the security measure "Arrest in prison" was executed for the following citizens: Rexhep Rraja, Përparim Rraja, Gazmir Rraja, Aldo Gjini alias Aldo Iamandi, Jani Çavo, Islam Sefa alias Islam Xaka, Agim Nina alias Lorenc Selmani, Zamir Aliaj alias Zamir Çoku, Sokol Qaja and Marvin Bushati alias Marvin Kopliku.
POLICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The operation, by the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime in the Criminal Police Department, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, the local police directorates of Tirana, Durrës and Kukës, with the Tirana National Security Force and with the BKH, under the direction of SPAK.
The security measure "Arrest in prison" is being executed for 10 members of a criminal group for drug trafficking, mainly in Germany.
As part of the "Return" operation, the security measure "Arrest in prison" was executed, imposed by decision of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group, for the following citizens:
R. Rr., 31 years old, resident of the village of Zezë, Fushë Krujë;
P. Rr., 50 years old, resident of the village of Nikël, Fushë Krujë;
G. Rr., 35 years old, resident of the village of Nikël, Fushë Krujë;
AN alias LS, 51 years old, resident of Durrës;
ZA alias Z. Ç., 47 years old, resident of Paskuqan;
SQ, 41 years old, resident of Tirana;
MB alias MK, 43 years old, resident of Tirana;
A. Gj. alias AI, 35 years old, resident of Tirana (the measure was executed in the Penitentiary Institution);
J. Ç., 50 years old, resident of Tirana (the sentence was executed in the Penitentiary Institution);
IS alias IX, 40 years old, resident of Tirana (the sentence was carried out at the Penitentiary Institution).
As part of the operation and in implementation of the decision of the Criminal Court, 12 searches were carried out in apartments and other premises owned by 10 citizens.
From these premises, 1 firearm with ammunition, 7 mobile phones, 4 vehicles, 1 bulletproof vest, 1 pair of binoculars, 415,000 euros, 7,000 pounds and 1,000,000 lek were seized.
In addition, 2 hunting guns that were held with a permit were blocked.
From the investigative actions carried out so far, it is suspected that these citizens, cooperating among themselves and with others, organized as a structured criminal group, have trafficked the narcotics cocaine and cannabis sativa, to EU countries, mainly in Germany.
The money gained from this activity was allegedly invested in the purchase of real estate.
The procedural materials were referred to SPAK for further action.
