The African heatwave returns, here's where temperatures are expected to peak

The African heat wave continues its influence on Tuesday, bringing clear weather and high temperatures, with extreme values expected in the southern areas of up to 39 degrees Celsius. The afternoon hours bring the presence of few clouds throughout the country, most noticeable in the northeastern and southeastern areas, bringing moments with raindrops. The relative humidity in the air increases significantly, making the heat felt even more.

Air temperatures will increase again at noon, fluctuating daily values from 9°C, the lowest temperature recorded in the city of Erseka, to 39°C, the highest value expected along the Western Lowlands.

The wind will blow light and at times moderate at speeds above 40 km/h from a permanent Northwesterly direction, creating force 3 waves on the sea coasts.
