Territorial Reform/ Prrenjasi again in protest against unification with Librazhd
Prrenjasi continues protest against merger with Librazhd Municipality

For the second time, hundreds of citizens of Prrenjas have gathered again in the city center to oppose the possible merger with Librazhd, warning that they will not back down from protecting the identity and status of their municipality.

The territorial reform has also sparked protests among residents of Dimal Municipality.

Gathered in the city's pedestrian zone and with banners in their hands, citizens demanded that the government not include Dimal in the changes envisaged by the territorial reform.

The protesters stated that Dimali is the place where they have chosen to live and raise their children, emphasizing that the municipality is one of the areas with the highest agricultural production in the country.

According to them, Dimali should not be affected by the reform, not only because of its territorial extent and population size, but also because of the historical values and heritage it carries.

Residents argued that a possible merger with the Municipality of Berat would make life and economic activity more difficult, especially for farmers in the administrative units of Kutalli, Cukalat and Poshnje.

Citizens also signed a petition against the territorial reform.

The citizens of Klos also gathered in the city center to protest against the new administrative-territorial draft map proposed by the Socialist Party, which envisages the merger of the Klos Municipality and its unification with the Mat Municipality.

The protest began in the early hours of the morning, with the Klos Municipality administration boycotting work for several hours in protest against the project. The protesters demanded that Klos maintain its status as a separate municipality, opposing a decision that, according to them, was made without extensive consultation with the community.
