This Monday marked the 16th day of the civic protest held in the capital.

Initially, it started against the project in Zvërnec, while now the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the removal of the leader of the parliamentary opposition, Sali Berisha, are being demanded.

Today, just like before, citizens marched from "Skënderbej" Square to "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, waving red and black flags and chanting "The end has come for you", "Rama resign", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison".

Speeches were delivered on an improvised podium in front of the Council of Ministers building.

Also special was the presence of European Union flags or a banner with the inscription: Europe, can you hear us? (Europe, can you hear us?)

The citizens' march on the streets of the capital has already begun, which, unlike yesterday, will take place within the Tirana Ring Road.
