President Begaj decrees the dismissal of Evis Sala and the appointment of
Evis Sala and Klodiana Spahiu

The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has today decreed the dismissal of Evis Sala from the position of Minister of Health and Social Welfare.

On the same day, the head of state decreed Klodiana Spahiu as the new Minister of Health and Social Welfare.

The President's decrees come within the framework of changes in the government, while Spahiu's appointment paves the way for the initiation of procedures for assuming the new position.

Spahiu is expected to be sworn in before the Assembly in today's session, in accordance with constitutional procedures.

Meanwhile, the majority is expected to propose a new name for the position that Klodiana Spahiu previously held in the Assembly.
