A fight between three people led to the use of a knife and a gun.

A 24-year-old man identified as Ylber Luli died in hospital from his injuries, while his father Qamil Luli was injured.

The 25-year-old author Andri Vulaj was arrested after the incident.

Police notification

At around 05:30, in the "Kongresi i Përmetit" neighborhood, Shkodër, it is suspected that, as a result of a conflict for weak motives, citizen AV wounded citizens QL, 63 years old, and YL, 24 years old (father and son) with a firearm, while the latter are suspected of having wounded citizen AV, 25 years old, with a cutting tool (knife).

As a result of the injuries sustained, citizen YL, 24 years old, died in hospital.

Police services went to the scene, where they were able to capture and escort citizen AV, as well as find and seize the firearm, a pistol, that was suspected of being used in the incident.

The investigation team continues its actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident, determine responsibilities, and fully document its legal consequences.
