The Traffic Police of Tirana takes stock: 9,180 administrative measures in 1

The Traffic Police of Tirana has taken stock of the week in terms of arrests, proceedings, administrative measures, as well as suspensions or blocking of vehicles. Specifically:

Arrests and Proceedings:

8 people were arrested for criminal offenses in the field of road traffic, including:

5 for drunk driving,

2 for driving without a driving license,

1 for active corruption.

Administrative measures:

A total of 9,180 measures have been put in place, with particular focus on:

Prevention of speeding,

The use of seat belts and protective helmets,

Observance of pedestrians and parking rules.

Suspensions and Blockages:

39 measures that include driving license suspension,

11 vehicles were blocked for various reasons, including verifications and unliquidated liabilities.
