The police have carried out checks and fined some drivers who drive with children in cars without locking systems. In the video shared by the police, different cases are observed, where the children climbed into the open trunk of the car, or sat in the first passenger seat with their parents, without the restraint system.

Anyone who does not use safety belts and restraint systems, provided for passengers up to 12 years old, is punished with an administrative measure, from 5,000 to 15,000 ALL. When the offense is committed by a minor, the responsibility falls on the driver of the vehicle or on the one charged with supervising the child, when he is there at the time of the offense.

In case the offender is the driver of the vehicle, in addition to the first administrative measure, he is also imposed a complementary administrative measure of suspension of the driving license for a period of 6 to 12 months.
