Residents of Rrjoll in Protest

Residents of Rrjoll in Velipojë have been ambushing employees of Bashkim Ulaj's "Gener 2" company since early this morning, blocking the road for machinery.

Ulaj is building a luxury resort in Rrjoll, while residents have been protesting and clashing with the police for days, claiming that Bashkim Ulaj has robbed them of their property.

Police officers immediately arrived in the Rrjoll area at around 08:30, enabling the relocation of residents and opening the road for machinery.

The police have also escorted 6 people to the police station due to their resistance. Among them is a woman, Luçiana Kokaj, who has raised her voice for the rights of the residents of the area in every protest.
