Aleko Myrtollari, the 46-year-old man who stabbed his wife two days ago, surrenders to the police. The serious incident happened on Sunday evening in the city of Korça, in the house where the married couple lived for rent.

Marjola Myrtollari, mother of 3 children, was seriously injured. Today, she was transported by helicopter to the Trauma hospital for more specialized treatment after her health condition worsened. Her husband stabbed her several times and as a result, according to the doctors, the cutting tool also damaged her vital organs.

The cause of the serious incident is suspected to be jealousy.
