A 53-year-old woman was handcuffed by the police in Shkodër after a 72-year-old woman collided with her vehicle to death today while riding a bicycle.

It is learned that the citizen with the initials M.Ç., due to the injuries received, died in the hospital.

"A 72-year-old woman who was riding a bicycle collided with a vehicle and later died in the hospital. The 53-year-old woman was arrested.

The Road Traffic Specialists of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate arrested a 53-year-old AR citizen red-handed, after today, at around 10:30 a.m., in the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood, the vehicle driven by this citizen collided with the bicycle the citizen was riding. M. Ç., 72 years old.

The citizen M. Ç., due to the injuries received, later died in the hospital.

Investigations continue to determine the cause of the accident.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodra General Jurisdiction, for further actions," the police announced.
