The citizens' protest has continued for the 19th consecutive day, with demonstrators gathering near the Albanian Parliament building during the plenary session.
Protesters have positioned themselves near the main entrance to the Parliament, blocking the passage of majority MPs.
Due to the situation, some of them have exited through another entrance to the building, avoiding the main entrance.
Likewise, Prime Minister Edi Rama exited the Parliament through another entrance, avoiding the main entrance where protesters were gathered.
After leaving Parliament to go to the Prime Minister's Office, some of the protesters also passed by the DP headquarters, chanting slogans such as: "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", and "Opposition sold out".
These chants irritated some Democratic supporters standing in front of the headquarters, who started a verbal clash with the crowd of protesters, which almost escalated into a civil clash.
The situation calmed down and the protesters continued their way towards the Prime Minister's Office.
