Prevention of organized crime and traffic, Police agreement with the Albanian

The State Police signed an agreement with the Albanian Post, for the prevention of organized crime and the preservation of national security.

The agreement was signed by the General Director of the State Police, Ilir Proda , and by the Administrator of the Albanian Post, Ardit Demiri .

The purpose of this agreement is to prevent and attack organized crime, illegal traffic, terrorism, smuggling of goods and substances dangerous to life and health, as well as money laundering, corruption and abuse of office.

In the framework of this agreement, the State Police and the Albanian Post will coordinate the work for making film footage available, in cases where the State Police assesses it as necessary for the prevention and investigation of criminal events.

In addition, the parties will cooperate for the provision and immediate exchange of information related to the violation of security, the protection of the infrastructure of post offices, the life and health of employees, as well as in the direction of prevention, detection and attack of criminal activities.
