Footage from the home of the 22-year-old woman who was being raped by her Albanian husband in Volos, Greece, has been published.

According to foreign media, in this apartment in Alykes, the 22-year-old woman was tortured for two whole years by her 28-year-old husband, who was arrested.

The testimonies of the neighbors of the couple of Albanian origin have also been made public.

"We have never seen the woman. We knew that an Albanian couple lived here, but we had never seen this girl. We all wondered what was going on inside that house, but there was nothing we could do. We didn't know what was happening," says a woman.

Another neighbor confesses: "I have seen him very rarely. He went out to the garden alone. Two or three times over the years. Not any more. And I was impressed because she was dressed from top to bottom. Like with a hood. I never saw her outside the backyard moving around, shopping. And I had never even seen the child."

The 22-year-old woman came to Volos in 2021 after marrying her 28-year-old compatriot, a cruel man who never let her learn Greek because he never allowed her contact with any man.
