The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met today in Brussels with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, with whom she discussed the lifting of the measures imposed by the EU on Kosovo.

Osmani, through a post on Facebook, said that he welcomes the "Growth Plan", presented by Von der Leyen for Kosovo.

"In the meeting with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen in Brussels, I reiterated the need to remove the EU measures against Kosovo, while emphasizing the importance of granting the country the status of a candidate for EU membership, as a clear signal that democratic, freedom-loving and committed to European values ​​have a place in the EU.

We welcome the 'Growth Plan', presented by President Von der Leyen, for which Kosovo has already presented a concrete plan for reforms," ​​Osmani wrote.
