As part of the SPAK operation related to the investigations against Ergys Agas, Fatjon Kalluci , head of the Police Scientific Laboratory, has been arrested.

His arrest was carried out as part of the latest investigative actions undertaken by SPAK and BKH.

Embro Sulejmani, owner of a business in Durrës, was also arrested in the same operation.

The two arrests are part of the same investigative file, while authorities are continuing verifications of the persons and connections that have emerged during the investigation.

SPAK executes new security measures and site inspections within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 20/1 of 2025

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime is conducting investigations within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 20/1 of 2025.

Following the request of the Special Prosecution Office, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with decision no. 67, dated 21.9.2026, has ordered the following security measures:

"House arrest" and "Suspension of the exercise of a public duty or service", provided for by articles 237 and 242 of the Criminal Procedure Code, against citizen VH, with the position of Director of the State Intelligence Service (SHSH), as a person under investigation for criminal offenses provided for by articles 320/2 and 295/a/1 of the Criminal Code.

"Arrest in prison", provided for by Article 238 of the Criminal Procedure Code for citizen FK, with the position of "Sector Head" at the Scientific Police Institute, as a person under investigation for the criminal offense provided for by Article 295/a/1 of the Criminal Code.

"Arrest in prison", provided for by Article 238 of the Criminal Procedure Code for citizen ES, employee of the company "Agroturizëm Kodra e Kuajve", as a person under investigation for the criminal offense provided for by Article 302/2 of the Criminal Code.

These decisions were sent to the State Police, which executed two of them.

With decision no. 618, dated 20.9.2026, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime has allowed the search of the apartment and personal search of citizen IP, a former senior official of the State Police.

With decision no. 619, dated 21.9.2026, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime has allowed the inspection of the villa complex located at the address; the intersection of "Durrësi në Shekuj" street and "Bajram Tusha" street, in the Shkozet area, Durrës.

The Special Prosecution Office thanks the State Police for their support in the execution of these decisions.
