Further details are being learned regarding the operation undertaken this morning by the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), as part of the ongoing investigations into the AKSHI affair.
This is an operation that is still in progress and checks are also being carried out on former police chief Ilir Proda, as well as in the Shkozet area of Durrës.
Sources for VoxNews said that these are classified materials issued by SHISH (State Intelligence Service) which were found in the checks carried out after the arrest of businessman Ergys Agasi and former senior Elbasan police official, Ulian Shpataraku , known as the confidant of the former police chief, Ilir Proda.
Hyseni is suspected of two criminal offenses, “Supporting the perpetrator of a crime” and “Disclosure of secret acts or data.” The security measure for Hyseni has not yet been executed, as according to sources, the director of SHISH is abroad.
In addition to Ilir Proda, other people are also being searched, including police and SHISH officials. After the search warrant was issued, Proda appeared at SPAK where he was questioned.
The new operation comes after the arrest of Ergys Agas on August 26 for tender abuses, after 8 months on the run.
