Dear real and virtual friends! Pleasure to contact you after a long time, but also sad for two reasons.
First of all, I wish my dear Professor Mr. Berisha from the bottom of my heart; I wish you good health and a speedy recovery. As a doctor and citizen, I wish the same to my patient Gert Shehu. I think any sane person would agree that these violent incidents would never happen, but they do. Based on many statements made in various media about this case, I feel the professional and civic responsibility to briefly clarify the following:
1. Medical document (it is a certificate requested by family members to present to the police)
This certificate is an authentic document issued by me, which has a registration number, date, signature, my personal seal and the seal of the clinic.
2. At the end of the document (certification) it is quoted verbatim: "Please do not hesitate to contact us if more detailed information is required". This comment implies the obligation to provide detailed data ONLY for institutions defined by law.
3. The reason why the diagnosis is not defined in this document is because I have the legal obligation, sanctioned in the law on patient rights, not to make public the patient's confidential data.
