"I don't feel guilty", Fatime Kryemadhi withdraws from summary trial

Fatime Kryemadhi, the mother of Monika Kryemadhi, has withdrawn her request for a summary trial in the criminal process where she is accused of money laundering.

At the hearing held at the GJKKO, at the moment when SPAK was expected to present her final claim, Kryemadhi opposed the continuation of the process with a summary trial, stating that she does not feel guilty and that the prosecution did not take her income into consideration.

"I don't want a summary trial. I don't feel guilty. SPAK has not taken any of my income into account," she told the panel.

The judge explained to the defendant that the summary trial does not imply an admission of guilt, but rather the development of the process based on the acts and evidence administered up to that stage of the investigation and trial.

After her statement, the court is expected to decide on the further course of action in the proceedings.
