In the village of Menkulas in Devolli, the birthplace of the great writer Dritëro Agolli, the foundations of the House-Museum were laid, which will eternally preserve the memory and legacy of one of the brightest figures of Albanian literature.
This cultural project, beyond symbolism, is a concrete act of appreciation for Agolli's extraordinary contribution to Albanian literature and a step forward in transmitting these values to the younger generations.
The Bektashi World Grandfather, Haxhi Dede, Edmond Brahimaj – Baba Mondi – and Elona Agolli, the writer's daughter, also took part in the kurban rite at the foundations of the museum.
"Dritëroi is one of the figures of the Albanian nation, he has left an excellent work, where he has inspired many Albanians to face difficulties. I thank the family, the architect and all his lovers who are making this museum, for this great figure of Albania. He was a great personality. May God honor us all, Amin!" - said Baba Mondi.
