The situation from the fires in the village of Kalasë in Delvina is serious, according to the Ministry of Defense, which announces that the strong wind is helping the spread of the flames.

Firefighters and a helicopter are at the scene, but also ambulances are on standby to help the residents. Fortunately, there are no reports of injured people, or of resistance of those who oppose the evacuations.

In Kalasa, Delvina, the situation appears serious due to the spread of the fire from the strong wind near the residential area.

The firefighters of Delvina and Saranda, officers of the Armed Forces, firefighters from the Civil Emergency Support Base and a Black Hawk helicopter were engaged in the action.

The Minister of Defence, Mr. Pirro Vengu, and the Mayor of Delvina, Mr. Besmir Veli are in the field, where they are closely following the operation in support of residents and efforts to minimize the risk to the lives of citizens.
