Invited to talk about this issue, journalist Artan Hoxha, has made a profile of the figure of Edison Harizaj.

"Edison Harizaj is a character who has had a past for almost 2 decades. He started somewhere in the late '90s where he had previously been close to several other people, identified as a supporter of Gaxhaj's gang. It is said that he is the nephew of Viktor Imer, but he is not directly the nephew. Viktor Ymeri is not the direct uncle of Edison Harizaj, he used his name. Viktor Imeri is in prison, he is back again…

In the last years before he was released from prison, the change of his sentence occurred a few days before the murder took place, they both had a cold and after he was released from prison he did not go home. He went to jail at a young age, when you had not turned 20 years old.
